Bed joint reinforcement is a modern and efficient method used by Maystone Structural to remedy such problems and is often used in conjunction with other structural repair techniques, both modern and traditional.

Maystone Structural will carry out a site inspection of the building (serious structural movement in a building can require an engineering judgement and specification of which Maystone Structural can assist). Typically, a specification of Masonry Beaming will be necessary. Our team will install structural stainless steel bars into the masonry bed joints using an appropriate resin, thus stabilising the structure by redistributing the structural loads. We will then colour match to as close as possible the original mortar and repoint leaving a seamless repair to your buildings facade.
